Did anyone read on the DIS home page abouth this?
World Trade Center Flag Display
Visitors to Disney's Epcot can view The United States Flag, which was recovered from the World Trade Center. The display is at the American Adventure in Epcot through February of 2004.

We saw the flag last September (I think it's been there since Spring, 2002). I can't say it was a "good" feeling to see it, but it definately generated a feeling. It's behind glass to the right side of the bottom floor when you go in to see the American Adventure. A definate must-see while it's still there.

Has anyone noticed the banner on the home page? I think WebmasterCorey did a great job with it and I love that both the US and UK flags are incorporated.

Hardly anyone notices the flag, it's really surprizing. I have seen it many times & usually there's nobody looking at it. I don't think they know what it is. You have to get up close & read the sign.
It's very moving.

We saw it on our October trip, and seeing it can be an emotional experience. If they are still doing the little Pledge of Allegiance ceremony with the fife band out in front of the American Pavilion, be sure to watch it and see the Voices of Liberty inside. The Pledge brought a tear to my eye even before seeing the flag. With my digital camera with the flash off, I was able to take some decent photos, but I don't know how to post them here.

Yes, there has been past threads on this subject. Its at the AA in Epcot and you may have to ask where it is to find it. Worth the trip IMHO.

We went to check out the flag this weekend and was told the last day it was on display was April 30th.

Same - made a special trip to Epcot to see it. CM explained that the "owner" of the flag had it returned to him/her on April 30th.
We were so disappointed.

We were there Saturday night and it was gone from the lobby area. I wondered if they moved it or if it was gone.

Im not sure if its still there, but it was there in Dec. Very moving. For thoose that missed it or just want to see it

The flag is gone??? I thought it was supposed to be there until Feb. 2004. We're going next month and I really wanted to see it.

We were also there last week and were told that it left at the end of April. I was so disappointed, I really wanted to see it.

I wished I knew it left on the 30th, that was the day we arrived and went to Epcot and didn't go to see it that day I said I would go back another day to see it. When I did they told me it left on the 30th, I was really dissappointed.

I was there last Monday and i went to see it and couldn't find it so i asked and the lady said it was givin back That Sunday to the guy that loaned it to them. I wish i could have seen it too.
