Wrong last name on luggage tag

I got my luggage tags today!!! But.....my oldest sons last name was wrong his last name is that of his fathers not my DH and I. They put his last name the same as ours. Will this cause any problems? It doesn't bother him or us of course but I wasn't sure if it would at check in or anything like that. Anyone know?

As long as the reservation number is okay, you're okay. I just neatly crossed out the wrong name and wrote the correct one (though even that's not necessary).

On our last trip our middle DS was listed as Miss instead of Master on all of the paperwork...we didn't have any trouble. Except with his brother, who thought the whole thing was hilarious, of course.

It might actually be easier with your name on his tags, as you will be the adults handling any problems that might arise with his luggage.
