wrong decision or not?

well i'm sure you all know by now that i have booked our trip staying at CBR now i'm not sure i done the right thing letting my partner pick to stay here(i really couldn't make up my mind )i have been looking at the pictures of CBR and POR and i am soo wishing a picked POR
please can anyone tell me we made the right choice also due to my sons minor medical reasons i have requested to stay in one of the buildings near to the main part of the resort does anyone know if they would allocate these buildings due to medical (will be getting docs letter)or am i best to just pay for the preferred room now is it $10 per room or per person per night?

We stayed at CBR last year and had a wonderful time - paid for a waterview which was a bit of a waste of money - however it does get you a room by the main pathway. I phoned the hotel 2 weeks before leaving and sent them a grovelling (!) letter asking for Martinique. At check-in when the lady said Martinique 25 i could have kissed her!?

It took about 1 minute to walk to the main pool and the food court - ideal for those nights when you are shattered.

Look on Disney Resorts Forum and you will find out loads of details there about CBR. Hope this is of some help to you........you will have a great time.

thank you both for your replies i have put a request in with the TA to be near to the pool and food court as my youngest has a minor medical condition (i will have a letter proving this)and it would be helpfull to be near to everything if not i will be more than happy to pay the prefered room rates

You wont be dissapointed, CBR is lovely,
POR is too, but not really that much between them, similar layout just different theming (& the boat to DD!)
You can always go & visit POR & check it out whilst your there....
anyway its another excuse to go & book that for the next holiday lol

That is the same as us, this is why we like to split our stays and then we see which one we like best

I'm having the same problem with our trip. I couldn't decide between GF and YC. I though I'd finally ask Dbf for help and he chose BW!

Now I'm even more confused!

You've chosen a really great hotel. How can you go wrong?

I had exactly the same situation with exactly the same resorts, spent a lot of time researching both resorts and looking at various comments on here before asking my partner which resort she fancied. I must admit that at first I was leaning towards POR purely because of the boat to DTD but once the gaffer made up her mind that was it

Now it's booked I'm just glad I'm going, we'll no doubt have a wander over to POR to have a nosey round and if it looks good then it'll be the starting point for our next holiday! I wouldn't be too concerned about whether you've made the right choice or not, you'll have a great time whatever!

don't get me wrong i am sooo very excited that i have eventually booked our trip it's just i am one of these people that can never make a decision and stick with it i have been doing a lot of research into POR and CBR and the majority of the reports were excellent but it takes just one comment to make me think am i doing the right thing so i am going to be quiet now and if i start to wander about things too much you have permission to flame me
