Wrong age on room reservation

First time Disney trip for me and we are running into some problems with our reservations. We were originally going to stay offsite so we bought our park tickets. Well after some research we realized our Airbnb would be almost the same price and staying at Disney so we booked a hotel for us and our 4 kids. When hubby made the reservation the age for our youngest was wrong on the website (2) and she’s actually 3. After I went back to look I realized this would technically put us over the room capacity. Since this is already a last minute trip I’m worried if we bump up her age on the website to 3 it will auto boot us out of the room and there doesn’t seem to be any more rooms for our family size the dates we are staying. We already have her ticket for 3-9 so it’s not like I’m trying to sneak her into the park for free. What can I do? I’m worried there will be issues with her magic band linking to the room(at age 2) and her park ticket showing 3.

Call tonight late.had luck a few weeks ago when I called around 10:15pm. Only waited around 20 minutes.

Agree with the above, you need to have everyone listed correctly on the reservation and not exceed room capacity. Otherwise, you will have issues using G+ & ILL you could have issues including the 3yo.

That said - with a family of 6 your limited in choices of rooms - AS Music suite would work as would the AOA suites, otherwise you would need 2 rooms (WDW will not guarantee connecting rooms).

DVC 2 bedroom would work but it could be pricey.

And Fort Wilderness Cabins.

You can also look at Disney Springs hotels so you'll still get early entry.
Doubletree Suites all rooms, Hilton Buena Vista Palace and Hilton Orlando have suites.

Thank you all for the help! I called Disney customer service and talked to a friend who is a former cast member. She told me it would probably be fine Bc the hotel wouldn’t know she’s past 2 and her extra ticket entering the park would be as if we are bringing an extra kid not on the hotel reservation with us(couldn’t get into the park early tho) I’m too anxious and don’t like to break rules.lol so we rebooked for AOA! About 500 more but it’s worth not being stressed lmao

Make sure you walk all over the resort, the decor is amazing and full of photo ops. The Cars section is like being in the movies, the landscape to Nemo makes me feel like you are underwater (cute playground too), Lion King has great photo with boneyard and Ariel icons are huge and cool. All the pools are great! I think the kids especially will love it!!

It may have been a better deal to just stick with the AirB&B. This is horrible advice from your former cast member friend. It's still breaking fire code and could have gotten you kicked out. I like to keep in mind that cast members don't know everything about every area of Disney. I once had a cast member on a customer service call who actually tried to tell me that Caribbean Beach didn't have any pull down 5th person beds!! I'm glad you got it worked out, though.
