Has anyone here ever written anything? Or know of someone who was? I was wondering if there any legal steps that need to be taken first. Do I have to Copywright my characters name or make sure the name has never been used by anyone before? Can I write a childrens book about a kid in the third grade and use words like the FCAT without being sued? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
