Wristlet allowed on big rides or have to store?

THANK YOU! On mine, it's a matter of lengthening the strap to go from waist to shoulder and vice versa, and it's a real pain. I'd be walking towards the Mummy entrance frantically shortening the strap enough to fit around my waist, and it was just ridiculous. I've been needing a new purse, so I may just use this as my purse for everyday use too.

You were allowed to ride the Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Forbidden Journey, Rip Ride Rockit, Mummy and Men in Black without using the lockers?
The only one of those I rode on was Forbidden Journey and yes, nothing was said. I did tuck my camera, which I also kept around my wrist, in my pocket but my wristlet stayed put. Of course, it wasn't very big.. It basically just held my money, ID, tickets, room key. I imagine I could have managed to shove it in my pocket if I had to for the ride..

At another park, I rode a big roller coaster with my wristlet on and nothing was said. My advice would be to only carry something small enough to shove in a pocket if necessary.

agree..I have seen people TRY to sneak things on and Universal TMs catch up to them and turn them back around and lead them to the lockers.

I wasn't trying to sneak anything. I left my camelback in the stroller along with my sunglasses, but didn't want to leave my money and stuff. But my wristlet was small and could have been shoved in a pocket if necessary.

It was probably missed. Generally they will ask you to store it or pocket it. We just want to make sure that people know this in advance so they can prepare for the lockers.

I found a small Kipling cross shoulder bag at Macys that's about 6 inches x 3 inches. It's big enough to fit my iPhone, and sunglasses. It has zippered pockets that I can put money, ID, park tickets, credit card, etc. in. I just tuck it into my shirt before going on the ride.

I also have a small neck wallet just big enough for my phone and money that I can tuck down my shirt.

I hate dealing with the lockers, so I try to bring as little as I possibly can when I go to Universal.

I bet it was just not seen by the CMs. We were there this past Friday and Saturday (March 28th-29th) and a CM told the lady right in front of us that her wristlet was not allowed and had to be placed in the locker. He made her go back through the line to do it. This was on Forbidden Journey. The wristlet was the smallest Vera Bradely one. That is about the size that mine is. I guess they didn't notice it. I discovered that I can't really ride roller coaster type rides anymore (perils of getting older) so I didn't ride much. Mostly just smaller rides.
