wristbands---Reprogramable?

Are used wristbands programmable with updated info? we have used bands from previous visits, and may not be staying on-site, but still want passes on the bands. I hope so, as if you buy new bands on site, they would transfer your room key, passes and credit card info.

If you stay off site the band is really only used as you ticket and to access FP+. It links to MDE so nothing is programmed on the band. As long as your tickets are Linked in your MDE you can use the band to scan while in the park.

There is no "transferring" going on as you seem to mean it. Each MB is an electronic key to an MDX account. If multiple bands are linked to the same account, they access the same info.

You may link your ticket media to the magic band on MDE. But you will not be able to use it for charging if you are staying offsite. Also, the battery life of the magic band may be expired, but you won't know that. It will work at tapstiles, but may not be strong enough to trigger the attraction pictures automatically.

Yep, and just to add the band has exactly one number on it that acts as the reference to the information stored on Disney servers. There is nothing else on the band, just the one reference number. So as mesaboy says, every MB accesses the same information and nothing to be reprogrammed.
