Wristband ? (paper "parent" fastpass)

When you use the wristband do you still get the paper "parent" fastpass or does the waiting parent swipe the wristband.

Yes, one of us will be waiting on line first. I'm just curious if I have to be standing there when DH goes on line. Sometimes I will take a walk with the youngest so he doesn't see daddy go off with older kid and my mom (who would not ride at all) would get the waiting parent ticket for me.

Rider swap dos not work with magic bans (as of Sep). They were still using paper swap tickets.
