Can you use a Disney gift card to buy/put money on one of the wristbands for Food and Wine?
I guess I mean when you get the wristband do you buy it? If so can you use a disney gift card? Or if the band is free, can you put a gift card on it (I'm thinking no, by your ecojenation). And NOT disney rewards, but a regular gift card. I was going to use a gift card I bought for my food and wine purchases but thought the wristband was a cute idea.If you mean can you load money onto Magic Bands using gift cards and not charge things to a room, no that's not possible at this time. We were just there a few weeks ago and staying off site, so we didn't have a hotel room on property to link to the MBs. I looked into loading money onto MBs we already had as an option, but it's not something that you can do.
That said, you can get gift cards at F&W that are attached to wristbands, and load money on those. Use the Disney Gift Card website to transfer balances from other GC's you have onto the wristband one.

Thanks!By wristband are you referring to the F&W gift card that has an expandable band that goes around your wrist - seen here:

These are regular gift cards, just smaller in size. You cannot purchase a gift card with another Disney gift card.
This may be a silly question but you can use the Disney gift cards from Target to purchase at the food booths during food and wine correct?
I like the idea of saving 5% with my Target card and bringing down that gift card rather than purchasing a mini card.
