Has anyone seen anything related to Wreck it Ralph at the parks? I saw a few things on line, but not much elsewhere.
Thanks!

Yes, in November I saw a fairly limited selection of WIR stuff at Emporium at MK, World of Disney at DTD, and a couple of stores at DHS.

We were there December 5th and was told all of the Wreck it Ralph stuff was sent to the outlet store in Orlando. I was looking for a Vanillopie doll for my daughter. I then asked if they had any Perriwinkle fairy dolls and they said no to that also. As a buyer for a retail store I was dumbfounded that Disney was not merchandising a movie that was still in the theaters!

That doesn't make an ounce of sense. I'd wager the CM that told you that was outright wrong.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure they had Wreck It Ralph big fists, similar to The Hulk ones you used to be able to find. I know that you won't be everyone's cup of tea but there will be other merchandise. It's their new film, not even Disney would not put out merchandise for a new film they're promoting.
It's not uncommon to ask different cms the same question and get different answers.
For example, I asked in Goofy Candy at DTD about the individual chocolate bars they used to sell (dark, milk etc) and the cm told me they still did them and took me to where they would be located. They weren't there and I was told they're just out of stock.
At Confectionary in MK I was told they stopped making them months ago

Yep, saw the fists, talking Vanellope dolls, and plushes of the other racers (though no Vanellope) as well. Might've been a shirt or two also.

I might be making this up, but I'm sure I've read it somewhere before, if you can't find an item you want, can you ask a cm in that gift shop if they could phone another store in the park and see if they have it in?

Just FYI- DD (6) got the talking Vanellope doll for Christmas. The doll broke within a week- she no longer talks. She got the one they were selling at Walmart, which may be slightly different than the one from the Disney store. She looks cute, but she was a big waste of money. DD wants a replacement, but of course they are nowhere to be found.

I just checked online and both the Disney Store and Toys R Us have a bunch of Wreck It Ralph stuff available on line again. The Toys R US $50 talking Vanellope is the same one that I got DD that didn't last a week. Disney store has a talking one for $25.

I don't know that what you would find in the parks , if anything, would be any different than what you would find at the Disney store. I don't recall seeing much Wreck it Ralph stuff when we were at WDW last month. In general, we found that the parks also had a lot of the same stuff in terms of dolls etc that we have at the Disney Store at home. .

I asked several cast members - one at the Emporium on main street and a the World of Disney at DTD. Got the same answers. We rented a car for the trip back to MCO from Port Canaveral after some time on the Dream and we stopped at the outlet store. Sure enough everything they had left was there. Cast member said they just got the stuff in. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Didn't have any dolls either. Maybe someone who has been to WDW can say for sure if they re-stocked the parks.

I might ask around today.

It don't make sense but it's true. I was there from nov 27-dec 6 and dec 1 all wreck it ralf stuff was gone!!!!! None anywhere but Christmas is over so I'm sure it's all back.

Looks like PP was right. Multiple CMs at MouseGears insisted all that merch was pulled. They didn't understand it either.

Emporium CMs say same thing, all merch pulled. Very odd.

Ok that just seems very strange. Now I wanna know why it's all been pulled, I'm intrigued

We were there over xmas week and was looking for a wreck it ralph pin and the CM also told me they only had a little merchandise before movie and that was it. They were not going to get anymore. I was very surprised since Animation is covered with Wreck it Ralph characters, but nothing to buy.

Thanks for all of you who looked into this. I ordered a few Wreck it Ralph cars from the Disneystore.com. I figured better safe than sorry.
I would like to know who is responsible for merchandising the movies recently. I'd say from Tangled, Brave, and now WiR, their merchandise has been sorely lacking. I don't know if it's a lack of faith in their movies or fear of having to take a loss on merchandise sales.
