I would suggest starting around page 20 and look for posts by Tim Gunn.

WPASADI (Wha - pa - sod - dee) stands for Wickedly Perfect Amazing Surviving Apprentice DIS Idol. It is an online reality based contest where DISers start out in teams competing against each other in creative challenges. The projects are judged by a team of "celebrity" judges and given scores. The Team with the highest score wins immunity and each of its team members are safe for another week. The other teams then have to hold a "Tribal Council" where they each anonymously vote someone off their team. Eventually the game hits a certain point where it becomes every DISer for themselves. At that point you will be completing individual challenges in hopes to make it to the end as the ULTIMATE WPASADIan!

Heh, that would probably happen to me too! Though, I am oddly curious to find out more (than what I just read).

Well, I signed up yesterday as soon as I saw the link. lol. Hopefully it isn't centered on making a webpage. lol. I'd be the first voted off of our "island"

I've played in something like this before on Neopets. It was called Premium Survivor. This is much much harder though. I've been reading the board and the things they make you do are very time consuming. Well, they don't have to be, but if you want to win, they better be. If you know what I mean.

On of the previous tasks was to write a sequel to Snow White and cast a certain number of DISers in different roles.

You didn't need to write an entire screenplay word for word, but you had to give a "cliff notes" version of it as if you were trying to pitch it to a motion picture studio.

In another challenge, contestants picked a band from a list and once everyone had their band, they found they had to rewrite one of the bands hits into a DIS/Disney-fied version.

Another time contestants had to write a leg of "The Amazing Race" to take place in their home state.

I noticed they have things called PodCasts and they have everyone watch them. Do you need an iPod for this? If so, I can't join because I'm not buying one just for this. Anyone know what a PodCast is?

no you don't need a ipod for a podcast, you do need a computer (which i ssee you have one ). A podcast is an free internet multimedia file that is listen to, though they also had video now. It kinda like a radio show that is downloaded to a computer.

the dis has a podcast, download it and listen.

also for a database of many podcasts check out the iTunes music store, which is on iTunes, and no it's not just for mac, it is also for windows.

I LOVE what you have quoted, makes me hope to be accepted that much more. You see, they are things such as THOSE which I love doing...being creative! I have written one act plays before and I have written many parodies. If I can incorporate Disney (erm, the DIS lol) into my writing, you better darned well know that I will be pyched! lol. Let me rephrase that...If I can incorporate the DIS into my writing for prizes such as those...then you better know I will be VERY pleased, teehee. lol
