Just wondering roughly what time the 2.30 and 5pm WP brides take their photos at GF?

We're no longer having a DFTW (I felt like I kept hitting a brick wall with them with everything) I'd still like to get some photos at the GF (mostly outside) and Poly beach (with Castle in the background) we're heading back to Disney for our reception, Wishes cruise and staying there so not like we're are going out of the way for this.
But of course I don't want to get in the way of the WP bride or 'break the rules' and have a CM tell me to leave because I'm not a DFTW bride or give me a hard time for being there

not sure - because it wouldn’t just necessarily by WP or GF brides - do you have a photog or is it just family/friend doing your pics?

We're having a 2:30 ceremony at the WP and we have assigned times at the GF. The Groom, his family, and the groomsmen have their's done from 1:00-1:30pm and than my family, my bridesmaids and myself are assigned 1:30-2:15pm.

What happened to LuvLuvLuv was horrible, but it was an isolated incident by a CM with more ambition than authority. There is no policy about non-Disney brides being prohibited from taking photos at the GF. And there is really no way for a CM to know where you had your wedding or who you paid to have it — even in that incident, that rude CM had to *ask* whether she was a DFTW bride (again, inexcusable and definitely worthy of a letter to GF management). You can always just smile and politely say "Yes, I am." What, are they going to ask to see the bill?

It is true that Disney wedding planners will coordinate with each other so that their brides don't show up at the same photo spot at the same time, but they can only control their events. As long as you're not hip-checking some other bride outta the way so you can get on the grand staircase first, there shouldn't be a problem! :cutie:

Hi! I don't see any reason why you couldn't take photos there. I used to be a Cast Member there and we used to love people taking pictures for special events.

Anyway, my DFTW is at 5pm at the pavilion and our photos are Groom from 3:30-4:00 and Bride from 4:00-4:45.

Hope you have a great wedding day!

Oh that's good as we'll completely miss the 2.30 bride (if there is one) as our ceremony is about 30 minutes away from Disney and we won't leave there until about 2.30pm.
I wasn't sure if the photos at GF for Wishes DFTW couples were done before or after.

Thanks Carrie, thats good to hear and I'm hoping we don't hear anymore stories (for the sake of any other non DFTW brides) like LuvLuvLuv's as I imagine that is such a awful feeling on your special day

I'd never dream of 'getting in another Brides/Couples way' or anything of the sort but if any area is not being used and there is no sign of any other bride in sight (if there was I'd simply move to somewhere else tillt hey were done) I'd like to think it wouldn't be any problems with my photographer shooting pictures of us.

I'll take note of those times, thank you

This is the timeline that we had as well.

But you said that you were having your reception at WDW, right? Well, at that point, doesn't that make you a Disney bride? That's my thought. You're paying a premium to have your reception at WDW.

BTW, no one at the GF asked if I was a DFTW bride. That's just tacky, right?
