We just returned from a one day getaway to BCV and had the best studio room we have stayed in there. It was room 531 and it viewed part of Epcot and marshy area between BC and BCV. What a nice view!

We could see the fireworks from both Illuminations and Fantasmic and the Tower of Terror and tops of the Boarwalk hotels in the distance. Couldnt have loved it more.

Also, tried Le Cellier, thought it was pretty good.

I'm happy to hear that you had a great time! The BCV is our home resort and we continue to feel it is a little slice of heaven!

What was funny, in the past, when we had requested views like that or were there for a few nights, we were always disappointed. This time we were there one night and get the best view we have ever had......Ironic I guess

I have been to all DVC properties at Disney World, and I think Beach Club is one of the best. The view is something you can't beat. We had a cornor room and had a double wide balcony and where able to sit there and watch the fireworks at Epoct. If you haven't been to this DVC resort yet with your points you should try it. It is definetly a must!

Sounds great! Was this a 1 br or studio? Do you remember the room # or approximate location? I had read that a lot of the rooms with Illumination views also had a road view, did this unit? Thanks!

Unfortunetly I wish I remembered to write down the number, I am staying at the BCV again this weekend and I wanted to the same room. It was a studio, it overlooked the waterway. When I go this weekend I will try to see if they can look up our old room number for us and I will let you know.

We were in 531 August 11th-15th and loved it, also!!!

We were in 528 on the 10th, and after realizing it was handicapped, asked to be moved. (We have kids and not having a bathtub was a pain).

Further to that (of course TOTALLY off topic from the original post), we left two Game Boy handheld video games in the bedside table drawer of room 528 and have never recovered them! :-( Lost and Found said they were never seen by housekeeping. I actually phone the occupants of 528 and asked if they were in the drawer, but no luck. However, these people were not the ones that occupied the room immediately after us...those people were there for 3 nights, then left. So...I don't know if they took them, or if housekeeping did, or if they got lost on the way to Lost and Found.

Bummer.....

Pam

(of course the kids had all their games in the cases, as well as extra rechargeable batteries, etc.!)

yes I think BCV has some of the best views, too.

I really wish I could add on there - but right now the budget just won't allow it!!!!:(

I really think is a several years (if that long) that BCV will be the most popular of all the DVC resorts....
