WOW we are going HOME!!!

booked our trip for OKW 2bdr and a Studio for our extended family trip. We are going near thanksgiving. SO EXCITED. We chose OKW because of the points being lower then other "homes". Has anyone here stayed at OKW? Did you like it? I feel like that commercial where the kids say "We're too excited to sleep".

That's so cool!! We haven't stayed at OKW yet, so I can't answer your questions, but I hope you have a wonderful trip! We're going down in Oct doing a split stay at BWV and AKV. Have fun!

OKW is our favourite! Had a two bedroom last year there with friends and they adored it, and we'll be there in 25 days in a 1 bedroom!!!
The kitchen/living area is larger than the other resorts, and there's a nice big round dining table that's great to sit down together for meals or play games during 'down time'. Our favourite is the large patios with the patio furniture to sit and enjoy the gorgeous views (we always make sure we have water/golf view) with a cold drink, or feed the ducks from the pond. Enjoy!

We stayed at Old Key West during the 2007 Food & Wine Festival. This wasn't our first choice but we had to stay there because everywhere else was booked. We absolutely loved the resort and would not hesitate to stay there again. The 1 and 2 bedroom accommodations are huge with a full size washer and dryer. You will also enjoy the large swimming pool with a sand castle slide. The resort is massive so you may have a building some distance from the main check in lobby. Be advised that most buildings do not have an elevator, only stairs. There are several bus stops within the resort so you won't have to walk far to get to the bus stop. If you're a distance away from the main lobby, don't stress about a long walk. As you're walking on the grounds of the resort, there will be several employees traveling around on golf carts. Feel free to wave them down and hitch a ride. As long as they don't have any guests onboard, they always offer you a ride. You can also park your car right in front of each building at this resort. I'm sure you will all be pleased with your accommodations at Old Key West, have fun!
