I Just Found On The Nick Hotel Sight Under Area Info-they Have Universal Tickets Buy2 Days Play For 5.

That's awesome. My husband has really been wanting to go to Universal. We've never been to IOA and our son is a HUGE Spiderman fan. He also loves spongebob, the hulk and shrek. I think he'll love it. WE are definately going to have to do this.

The pass is buy two days get three free. It is $99.95/all ages for a 5 day consecutive pass. We will only be doing Universal three days(maybe 3.5), but are getting the pass because it's still cheaper than the two day passes.

I took advantage of that online offer last year and it really worked out well for us. :cool1:

They also have an annual pass called a Power Pass for $119.95 that has some blackout dates (off the top of my head, Christmas week, some weekends in the summer, Easter week, etc.). There are 5 of us and 1 of us gets a Premium AP ($179.95) and the rest get Power Passes. The Premium AP gives you free parking, dining discounts, discounts on merchandise and on-site hotel rooms, etc. If you think you may be back within a year, check out the APs.

Wow! If our kids were a little older I might jump on this quick. Does anybody know if the tickets expire?

I'm pretty set on 10 day non exp MYW ticket for 2 trips. With APs we were able to do 6 or 7 days at a park per trip (instead of 2 five (park)day trips but for the money saved and the fact that we could go back for the other 1/2 of our tickets anytime vs. within a year with the AP) With this we could do a trip one year of 5 days at Universal(is there enough to do for 5 days? especially in the off season? My wife and I did universal years ago and we covered everything in 1 day acutally by 1 pm!) anyway, 5 days there and do 3 or 4 at WDW. Then next year/next time we'd have 6 or 7 days left on our MYW tickets for a full disney vacation or if the Universal tickets don't expire, do 7 days at Disney on the first trip and 3 days at Dis and 5 days at US on the next trip.

We would have 15 park days over 2 trips.

yes the tickets do expire. 4 days after first use. so you have to use them consecutively. I got that pass even though we are going to universal for 2 days. cheapier and we got coupons to use.

I know they expire after you use them, I would use them all on one trip or the other. My issue was that 1) I have no current trip planned and 2) my kids are too young right now. It just seems like a great deal. I could buy them and start planning our next 2 trips with them in mind.

I e-mailed Universal and asked if they can be purchased even if we had no plans to get down there for a couple of years and they said that's okay, they don't begin use until after you swipe them the first time so they can be purchased for a future trip if you're not planning any trip soon.

Cool. Thanks!

So what do you all think? Worth the investment? I could pull $400 out of savings and "invest" in this. Some day we are going to go. And I have a feeling when we do, even if it's just for 2 days, it's going to cost us a lot more that that.

Great deal, but it's five CONSECUTIVE days. It doesn't help me for this summer, but for the right person it's a great deal.

We had these last year and absolutely loved them!

For Mrs. Pete, Mastercard is offering a deal where, if you charge them on your Mastercard, you get 5 2-day passes for the price of 4! Here's the link:
Universal/Mastercard 5 for 4 Offer The cost for the passes is $419.80 + $27.32 (tax) and $2.00 for will-call e-tickets or $14.00 for express shipping. That makes the cost of each 2-day pass $89.30 plus shipping costs divided by 5. Ticketmania charges $106 for the same tickets.

We took advantage of the 2 days for $99 get 3 free and received our Universal tickets in the mail on Monday! We are so excited! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

This is a pretty good deal but we purchased our tickets last year from Orlando Tickets and got 7 consecutive days for the same 400.00.
It all depends when you go and how long you are staying. Best wishes and have a great trip. :cool1:
