I've been debating and debating about subscribing to his site and I finally did it yesterday. All I can say is WOW. :yay: What a site....I highly recommend it.

I'm curious if anyone has had success with the touring plans. They seem right on the money. I'd love to hear from people who have used them. :wave2:

I used TGM twice, the most recent was last August. I LOVE the advice. We saved tons of time and I will definately use TGM again.

I just signed up for it last night and I my head is spinning :earseek: trying to take everything in. I am not sure where anything is so I am feelingi pretty overwhelmed. I hope to have some time to read though it this weekend and I am glad that I subscribed so far ahead of my trip because I would be going  if I signed up a few weeks before I left.

TGM knows his stuff. His advice was right on the money.

You know what's funny.........if *everyone* listened to TGM, then that would defeat the purpose of his plans, KWIM? We have to count on people who do not subscribe to TGM to make our days go just right. :lmao:

I used his plans this past December and they were great! I even did a test to see if he was right in what days to go to what park and he proved to be right. I also designed my attractions around his plan and everything was walk on.

I know it could be confusing at first, but hang in there. All the sudden it will click! Just spend time navigating and post on his forums for help.

It was definitely worth it!

I was thinking the same thing - if I posted a thread about TGM then more people will find out about it, and the plans won't work LOL!!!! The site is mind-boggling but I am trying to get through it. It's amazing how much I "thought" I knew about Disney!!! :rotfl2:

I signed up for TGM a couple weeks ago for our June trip. Initially I was very overwhelmed. I found that printing out pages made it a lot less confusing. I can't wait to put his wisdom to work for us. After reading his sample tours, you almost think why you didn't think of that before because it all makes sense.

I was thinking of using TGM last year and didn't. I thought we did good. I am considering using it this year to do better. I just wasn't sure if it's good for people with small kids who can't do this and that at the exact moment. The little ones just don't let you.

Anyone with little ones use it successfully?? Mine are 2 and 4

Last year when we went, my kids were 5 and 3 and I think these plans would have made it ALOT easier. I am looking forward to this year's trip with my 6 and almost 4 year old so much more now because hopefully these plans will work and I won't be standing in hot queues all day...I think that TGM is especially good for families with young kids. Imagine how much happier your kids will be when they are actually going on all the attractions and not standing around for hours on end in the Floriday heat.

Can one of you who used it post a link and a price? Thanks!

Loved my TGM, I was hesitant at first to dish out the money, but it was very worth while!

A friend of mine told me that Tourguide mike is like taking a diet pill that actually works. You wake up 20 lbs thinner and amazed by the results. I got the same thrill with how well Tourguide mike works. Now if only I could find that diet pill! :rolleyes1

I have done Disney without TourGuideMiKe and with him. Now I would never go to Disney without him. I was amazed and thrilled with the results -- we went during the very busy spring break and then again in August. Both times he was absolutely on the money with his best days, touring advice, and just about everything else.

If you do a search on tourguide mike you will find discount codes. His site is Tourguidemike(dot)com. (Hope thats ok to post!)

We used TGM for our trip last fall and his plans were great. We walked onto every attraction (except Safari-15 min wait) all week. I've already subscribed to help in planning our May trip this year.

DH insists we won't leave home without TGM! Mike's advice is so right on. At first, I wasn't sure but WOW. You won't regret subscribing. It does take some reading but it's great.

I've used TGM the last 3 trips - since my kids were 1 and 5 yrs old - last trip they were 3 and 7 yrs old. It is great for folks with kids - because if you get "off track" which happens OFTEN with us, it is easy to figure out what to do next because he explains the reasons WHY to do something. My younger son has diabetes and we successfully use TGM's plans to avoid most of the waiting around for him.

TGM is best for those who like to plan and read and think about their trip. You do need to commit some time to looking at his site and reading his advice to get the most out of it. He gives touring plans (like ride Pooh, then ride this, then ride that, then go here, etc.) but it is the reasoning behind it - once you get that down, then it is easy to figure out what to do if you go "off plan" because your of your kids - LOL!

When you get your plans, does TGM factor in taking breaks mid-day or already set-up ADRs? We're going in June (DH, myself, DS 13, DD 11, and DS 4) and plan on going back to CR to rest/swim/etc. after lunch until dinner time.

Thanks.
Debbi

Be careful-- he does not give you a custom plan for your trip-- but provide you with all the tools you need to customize the perfect plan.

As for your question about breaks-- the TGM philosophy is about having the very best vacation-- not just ride as many rides as you can. Breaks, utilizing your resort, and swimming are a big part of the 'perfect' plan.

Also- money back guarentee with NO TIME LIMIT. Thats how confident he is about his site. You can request a full refund even after using the site for a month! OR even after you return from disney!! (But, I doubt you will!)

Another TGM user here! I used him for my Sept/Oct trip and his best days/touring plans were right on. I'm working on my 2nd TGM experience right now for my spring trip.

Like others I had trouble navigating the site at first, but after a few days I easily adjusted. What also made it easier for me was to read the articles in the printer friendly mode. The articles I thought would most pretain to my trip I printed off and made a huge vacation book in a 3 ring binder. I organized my trip by: Reservations, Park Hours, General Park Help, Dining, Park Advice, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Water Parks/DTD, Special Events, and ETC. I included stuff from TGM and other websites in the binder and it was so nice to be able to easily refernce and make my plans with everything in one book. I took sometime each week and enjoyed reading my book on my deck and underlining important information. Some of the information I made into an excel sheet and carried it in my bag for quick reference while I was at the parks.

Debbi Mike does not make your plans he does have sample plans that you can make into your own plans, but you will have to put everything together yourself.
