...made our Wonder ressies almost a year ago and here I am packing now as we fly out Tuesday night and board the Wonder Thursday (as early as they'll let us get on).
Thanks to all of you for the great info you've shared on this board. We are still debating whether or not we'll get off in Nassau and if we do, where we'll go. Some of it depends on the weather. Our goal is to relax during this 3 day voyage and take in all DCL has to offer. It looks like the weather may be on the cool side but I'm sure it will be so much nicer than the Northwest rains we've experienced lately. Not to mention the fact we hardly see daylight up here during December - the sun tries to make it over the horizon about 8 AM or later, hugs the horizon most of the day, and then darkness starts to settle about 4. Not to mention it's mostly grey anyway, often our automatic outside lights never go off during the day. I need some of that vitamin D Mr. Sunshine provides!
We're headed to Grand Cayman and Cozumel on the Inspiration the following week so will have no complaints if the Bahamas and Castaway Cay are on the cool side. I won't be working (have spent many 12 hour days at work lately), I won't need to cook, and I'll reconnect with my husband and son since we've all been so busy. Who can complain about that
