Today.............

my brother had a boyscout get together thing at our state park. We were going to walk along the beach and pick up the trash. I was amazed at what we picked up. We picked up tons of bottles, lids, plastic, cigarettes, wrappers, toys, and get this. Used feminine products! I can't believe all the crap people just throw on the ground instead of throwing it away in the trash can. As we were walking along, it opened our eyes to see just how careless people can be. I mean how hard is it to walk an extra 10 feet to the trash can? Not very. It was awful.

Opinions?

Some people. :sad2: If things don't start to change soon, this planet is going to be one big landfill.

That's so gross:crazy2:

I hate how some people are so careless.
Last year some girl came to our bus stop, but she didn't live around their she lived in the next neighborhood and she took out a package of candy and she threw the ripped piece on the ground and the plastic bag.

I'm in ecology club,so littering is like a big no no to me. haha

I live on the corner of a street. With busy traffic at that. So when people stop at the STOP Sign, they throw their trash into our front yard.

We live in a nice neighborhood, with snobs. And many times our neighbors have come over and said we need to make our yard more presentable so our neighborhood looks good.

Everytime I go outside I find myself picking up other peoples trash.

It's sickening.

I mean, we move to a nice area, and look what happens to us.

There's a family down the street from us who have 7 kids. Ages: 9,6,4,3,2,1,6wks. The 9-2 yr olds always come down to our house with food and always leave their wrappers. Sometimes, they even leave spoons and plates and cups! But do the parents care? NOOOOOOO! They're to busy smoking and drinking on their front porch. :headache:

There really needs to be something/some way better of disposing items... and tossing them into the street is *not* an option.

Yes, used.

City park is the drugsex hangout.
Champs is a group that you sign up for and make a promise not to do drugs.
There's a day called Champs Day, when all those kids go down to City Park with the school to play sports and stuff.
Half the people who participate in Champs day go to the park to do drugs or have sex.
Ickyyyy.

I hate that. People are all like "Oh save the chickens. They are being mistreated at factories for KFC." But they are not concerned about the trash from KFC. lol seriously
