Well, the first time I was wondering how to ask (you can't say California in VMK). So I said Grand Californian? No worky, so I after some experimentation in the trade window, I ended up saying Grand?

Well, that worked, as I used it a couple times later as well.

That's a problem when you have Grand Californian and Grand Floridian to
choose from. The solution: DLR Grand is the Californian pin, and WDW Grand
is the Floridian. You'll notice the pins have abbreviations like that, so we
can type it.

Well, for this latest one, I said "Grand East."

Lily said, "Floor?"

"Yeah."

A couple seconds go by as she finds the pin, and plops in the Grand Floridian and ATIS Mighty Eye.

That's the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel pin. It was available for a brief time
last September for HKDL's Grand Opening.

I almost had it. I was in the trade but she put up the Grand Floridian. I asked for the other Hotel pin she was wearing and she was gone. I don't think the trade would have been completed either way.

It was Hula trading when the room opened a little late, but Lily was
standing in the doorway. If Hula left and Lily took over, it must have
happened after I left.

Hula WAS trading the Toucan pin. She had the Tiki Opens, Jolly Roger
(formerly 1/5), Toucan, Churro, and two other pirate series pins and a
Tiki series pin I can't recall.

Edit to add: And Hula rocks. She surprised me with the Mighty Eye pin for
my pin collection.

I wish she would have stayed. Two hosts would solve everything. They would rarely DC at the same time and we could easily get through the line and trade if it was moving twice as fast.

There would probably be more muling so maybe VMK wants it this way? The solution seems so simple.

Well, I've only traded the retired buyable pins (I actually had to buy more from Tink!), such as the Waterpark or Food pins.
