Wow, that was fast!

By way of background for my January 2015, trip I searched daily for 3 nights in a BWV 1 br for the first or last 3 nights of my trip from 7 months to about 60 days before, plus I had a wait list the whole time - never got it. So I was delighted to get one for the last 3 days of this years December trip. Out of curiosity I checked the RAT and neither the villa I traded in (AKV Jambo savana view studio) or any BWV 1 br.s are available for all of those three days now.
Last year I tried calling the minute the phones opened (I don't have enough points to book online w/out canceling) yet this year I didn't remember to check until just before the phone lines closed right at 7 months. It really seems to be happenstance - whomever grabbed the villa I let go must have just happened to look soon after I let it go.

We don't know how inventory is handled by DVC, the RAT may not always be live, room may have been grabbed by an owner, by Disney, who knows?
