Not a bad half time show. I enjoyed it. Shania was great as usual and I liked the duet with Sting and Gwen Stefani.
Haven't noticed that many great commercials though. (Haven't been watching steady, just checking every now and then.)

We were thinking that too about Shania singing, but one of the guys said that there's a delay in the sound system in big stadiums like that. So she probably was really singing, but her lips were just a little ahead of the sound. Gwen was definitely singing. She was great.

I love Shania, but it really sounded like it came straight off the CD. Sting and Gwen sounded like they really were singing live though. In any case, I really enjoyed the halftime show!

I didn't watch the performance, but I know a few years ago, when Creed did the SuperBowl halftime show, it was lip synched. I guess in a venue that large, it's really hard to create a good sound without setting up TONS of equiptment, which just isn't possible with the time they are allotted for the halftime show.

I like Shania- but I can't STAND the 2nd song she sang..... it's just bad. She was lip-synching.... at one point she wasn't even moving her lips and "yeah yeah yeah" was still going strong.

Gwen on the other was singing, you could hear how breathless she was from running around. She and Sting were the highlight in my opinion.

The Dixie Chicks did a great job with the National Anthem!

Shania was awful, and that's not even considering the ridiculous lip-synching. No Doubt/Sting were decent, but I miss the days where I could flip to MTV for a Beavis & Butthead halftime special.
