Hello all fellow May 8th Magic cruisers.....we are gonna have a full ship....went on the web site yesterday and it was not available anymore....spoke to my TA today and she said the ship was completely sold out....so I guess my plan of buying a small upgrade when we get on the ship will not work out.....gonna have to be happy looking out the porthole window I guess....anyone else ready to go already?

Tom

We are ready to go too!!! Can't wait - we are staying at Cocoa Beach 1 week prior and visiting WDW again, too! Also just discovered we will have to have someone tape the Survivor Finale for us on May 9th - 3 hours long - don't want to miss any of Key West!!

Everyone else ready???

We're on the 5/8 sailing. Booked it last June!

I'm amazed that the entire ship is sold out. We were hoping that the Florida resident rate would open up for MIL/FIL, but it's not looking good!

LOL...I found that out awhile ago...its not on the TVs on the ship right? I wouldn't sit there for the whole 3 hours but I would tune in the last 15 minutes!

Whoo Hoo, We can't wait! We have a SPR for 5/8 cruise:Pinkbounc

We ARE ready!!:hyper:

:wave2: :wave2: Have a great time everyone!! Please let us know how it goes with a full ship!! Bon Voyage!!:wave2: :wave2:

I keep checking my doorstep for my docs!

I feel strange in a way.... I've got my 8th grader going to Washington DC over Spring Break with school. He leaves Monday 4/12, coming home Saturday. I feel like I can then start "the cruise" after I get him packed and home.

A good thing though, the preparation and the stuff we purchased for this D.C. trip was a twofold...... you can wear this there and then take it on the cruise.....

I'm excited for my DS14! I have read good reviews on The Stack. I'm rethinking some excursions, after reading some trip reports, which of course is stressing me out!

:earseek: :Pinkbounc  :bounce:  :earseek: :hyper:

:Pinkbounc :bounce: hey, we'll be there with you! Myself, hubby, ds3 and dd 8! Can't wait.....am looking for the ressies too! I already starting to pack since I am a student, and the week we leave is around finals time! We are going on the Capt. Marvins excursion in Caymen (thanks for the recommendation!) Also doing the surial ritual chamber, and rainforrest room. Oh, taking mom and dad with us on their 2nd disney cruise(our first!)........any suggestions on what to do for mom for mother's day???

From Maine to Magic in 29 days...............:sunny:

How about sending her a basket from Shirley at The Perfect Gift? You could even have it sent to your stateroom and then Sunday morning give it to her!

aprilgail2:

We did watch a Thurs. night program of Survivor back in Oct. 2001 on the Wonder's CBS channel without difficulty. We were so tired that night from running all week at WDW prior to boarding that Thurs., we didn't mind just sitting for awhile. But not this trip, which is our 1st 7-nighter!!

Can't wait to meet you!

Someone tell me....what is surial ritual chamber and rainforest room?

I noticed that the 5/8 was gone from Travelocity this morning. I was checking on our 5/22 Western. It's odd how one can sell out like that and one not. The 5/22 (which is the next western) has all catagories 4-12 available.

Maybe I can cross my fingers for a little pixie dust. My DM would love a verandah. Cat 7 would be fine (in case your listening:teeth: )

:D AprilGail2, thanks for the suggestion, I have heard of Shirley, but how do I order the gift basket? Is there a website?

 The surial Ritual Chamber is a spa treatment! You go into a tile lined "suite" with a sitting area, steam room, and shower. There you have 3 different kinds of mud to put on yourself or the person that you're with. and relax in the steam room to absorb the mud. You shower off and use some of their lotion. I believe its $68 for one to three people for 50 minutes. The rainforest room has different scented saunas, a steam room and water jets, heated tiles, and a fog shower w/mint. Many people can be in there at one time, but its supposed to be real realxing(I haven't done this yet, but I've heard great things about it!) All I know is it sounds realxing for sure! ;)

We are ready!! Me, DH, DD (9) and even my parents will be there! I'm treating my mom to the spa for Mother's Day.

She has a website...its www.theperfectgift.cc BUT...it is not limited to what is on there, give her a call and tell her what excatly you want in there (moms favorite whatevers) and she will work with you!

Hello TChrist 05
When I went on the website for DCL this afternoon and put in two adults it still came up with cabins available,...maybe your TA's company only has access to so many cabins? Or maybe its closed for any more kids as they only take so many as the clubs get too full ( I believe thats the case re booking kids).

I just went to the disney cruise website again (I tred it yesterday and got the same results as tonight)...and this is what it says for 2 adults, no kids....

"Travel Information

Your vacation date is no longer available. Please choose another vacation date "

So it is indeed sold out.

Aprilgail2....howdy fellow Long Islander.....we live in North Bellmore...which is really not far from you.....actually I hope you shop in the supermarket chain I work for...King Kullen.....anyway, I don't think there is any more cabins available....but I got mine and I am not giving it away....when are you leaving for the cruise....we are leaving Saturday morning out of JFK....Song airlines.....or Delta.....so we will see ya on the ship.....
Tom & Marilou.....

Hello Aprilgail2,
I guess when I tried this afternoon they may have had a cabin or two open up as there where cabins available in cat 5, 6 and 7, and they have since gone to people on waiting lists. I can't think of any other explanation for it but thats what came up and I checked it twice( just like Santa:rolleyes: ) Its no big deal, I just thought I would mention it and give a possible reason. Sorry if for some reason, you seem to be upset by my post.
