Wow....just called Disney to add my

Magical Express info and the CM told me he couldn't touch my reservation because it was booked by a TA. His whole tone changed when he pulled up my account! Originally it was booked through a TA and then cancelled and rebooked by Disney when free dining came out. My TA found this out and got upset. She called Disney and took over the reservation. Now....I feel like I have been labelled or something!! LOL Anyway....I told the CM that I was told by the booking CM to call back when I booked my air. He said he would do it but he isn't supposed to. Geesh! Almost became the Not So Magical Express....

I would fire the Ta and complain about her. Trips get cewnceled all the time it is the nature of the business. I have found that I know more than most and just do it myself.

I had a similar situation in November. We booked with AAA and I couldn't touch the ressie. Not even to add a birthday celebration, room preference--nothing. All I could do was make dining ressies and thats because they really aren't linked to your reservation (I think). Anyway, if you are a control freak like me, it's tough to swallow. Things got really ugly when a code came out and she was the only one who could add the code. My TA kept giving me the run around because she didn't know what she was talking about and refused to believe that I did.

I'll never use another TA again--except for the few that come highly reccomended here on the Dis. Good luck.

thru TA before free dining was announced. When free dining was announced I called Disney to see if we could add it. She said we could. She cancelled my reservation and rebooked the same reservation instead of modifying my existing reservation. That meant my TA was out of the picture and didn't get her commision. She wasn't too happy about this and called Disney. I can't blame the TA for getting upset. She did the work yet the CM gets credit for the booking.
