WOW!!! I met an ex disney cartoonist!!!

HI! I am an ultrasound technologist, and today I had a patient that was a very nice and talkative older man. He told me that he worked with Walt Disney in 1946!!! He said he used to draw the backgrounds/background animals for the Disney cartoons!!!! He was so interesting, and he even drew a picture of a rabbit for me! He told me that Mr. Walt Disney was VERY hard to work for, because he demanded perfection! He said he liked WD, but that it was alot of work to keep up with what the boss wanted. I thought it was neat to get to chat with someone that actually KNEW and worked directly with Walt himself!!!! :teeth:

Thats wonderful. You'll never forget meeting this man. Glad you took the time to talk to him about it - I'm sure he enjoyed telling you his story.

My friend who lives in Orlando, her husband worked on all the recent disney movies until they closed the Orlando animation studio and they offered him to move to CA but he chose not to and is a plummer now! The last one he worked on was Lilo & Stitch... he got to take home some original litographs and one of those life sized surf boards. His name is even in a disney animation book...
