Hey Everyone!

I just took 9.6pwt of 14K broken gold and old odds and ends to a local jeweler and got $105.00 or just under $11/pwt - so all who are mailing it off seem to do be doing very well!

Most of the items I have had set aside for over a decade to sell as scrap gold, but could not give it away the past times I tried. You should have seen the snobby replies I would receive from jewelry stores when I asked, "Do you buy scrap gold?" Funny how the almightly dollar has a way of changes attitudes real fast!

I have been digging through jewelry boxes for a while and am going to try to get rid of my stuff. I would love to have money for our WDW trip on the 17th, not sure that will happen. Anyone have any luck with pawn shops? I am going to call around and ask how much they are giving right now for them, if it isnt much, then I will try USGB

I sent mine with the stones in it. They weren't anything that I necessarily wanted back. In my quote it said that they were sending some things back that weren't gold - I am thinking it may have been the stones. I used GF. I'll let you know.

I got my check from GF's today and my offer came last friday. Man that was fast!

Just got my settlement from goldfellow...a little over $100 for a few pieces of jewelry that I haven't looked at in years! They were very fast and friendly! I'll use the m again if I find anything else!

It's on their website, scroll down and you will see payout for today. I think it is higher than 14 bucks though

I'm so excited! I sent some old gold in yesterday and I just got the call. They are putting $308.00 in my paypal account!!! Now I'm just waiting for the money to hit my account.....

I sent in about .8 oz. of gold. One bracelet was 18k and the rest was mostly 14k, I think there was one or two 10k peices.

Hopefully the money will hit my account soon--but it has all been a very quick process.

I sent my jewelry in yesterday to USGB. I sent two small gold rings, a very small gold bracelet, four gold post earrings w/CZ's in them, a pair of gold hoop earrings, three silver bracelets and one silver ball earring.

I just got the call for my payout: $114.34! It's not as much as I had hoped for, but that's $114.34 more than I had yesterday!!!

Well I just got my second package ready and waiting for fedex for usgb. They qouted me 800 on the phone based on weight and kt, so we will see tomorrow what they actually offer. I hope its enough to get my dh some new tires for his truck. Ill let you know.
