I needed to call this morning and add a day at the beginning of our early March Trip. Since we are only about 2 and half months out, I was not going to hold my breath for it. I was able to add on a day at the beginning of my 1 bedroom OKW room easily! That means there must have been plenty of availability for 1 bedrooms early March at OKW!

Congrats! We just booked one week in the middle of April at OKW with no problem also. It is nice to be able to book short notice trips with no problems, I always hold my breath though, I know it can be hit or miss!

Well, it means there was ONE 1B villa available. Don't know about there being plenty of availability, though.

4 days ago I was able to book a week for DS at BWV for the middle of March. He is waitlisted for his first choice of AKV. Of course he will be very happy with BWV if AKV doesn't come through.

On Dec. 9th, I was able to get a standard view 1 bedroom at Kidani for the gals portion of my spring break. Maybe WDW March spring break trips aren't as popular as they once were.

Our local schools have spring break for one week in mid-March. Also Easter is once again in April (4th) so many schools align spring break with it.

Whatever the reason, congratulations on get the additional night.

I suspect the spring breaks might be skewed a little this year with the Easter holiday coming so early. Perhaps early April is the big time for 2010.

Sometimes you just get lucky. We are going to be in a two bedroom at HHI for our Spring Break in March/April. Decided to have a relaxing, stress free vacation this year.

As new DVC members we're coming home for a split stay between BLT and AKL the first 2 weeks of March. We're hoping the crowds are lower then. Compared to the first 2 weeks of June we normally go, my guess is it should be a little slower anyway. We sure are looking forward to this trip. Any body have any comments on the studios at the BLT and AKL? It may only be the 2 of us this trip but there is a chance for 2 of our adult kids coming along.

Whoo Hoo for You Don't you just love pixie dust!

I got a little pixie dust of my own. A couple of weeks ago I called to add a night at the end of a reservation at AKL - Savanna view - 1 bedroom and had no trouble doing so. I was a bit surprised..

Actually, I called a couple days ago to add on to a trip we have planned in June. I have 2, 2 bedroom villas at the BCV and was able to add on and extra days. What a surprise! It was a nice surprise!

OK..this is still about my DGF's stay that's part of my Spring break, beginning March 20th. As of yesterday morning, I had a standard view Kidani 1 bedroom, and decided to try for a savannah view 1 bedroom, also in Kidani because I did want the 2 baths. I had to go on a waitlist because of the 4 nights, the Sunday wasn't available. I checked last night, still in standard view, but this evening, I see we have the Savannah view! I'm happy because I always felt that AKV was about the animals and now I can share this great place with one of my DGFs!
