If you've been following my little mini reviews from DH's business trip this week, you know he tries restaurants while on business so as to help us decide where to dine while on our family vacations. With a family as large as ours (8) we prefer not to find out the hard way that we don't like a restaurant. This week he has ruled out Olivia's (bad experience--look for my review), enjoyed Yacht Club Galley (also reviewed) and I'm very excited to report that he has found his new all-time favorite breakfast spot this morning. (I think we have had all non-character breakfasts at WDW--plus a few character ones, as well.)
The highlights for him were the S'mores French Toast (beats banana stuffed French toast in his opinion--dessert-like--only offered every few weeks but you can request it and they might make it for you), an incredible omelette with everything in it, good Columbian coffee, he really enjoyed the anti-oxidant juice with ginger, strawberries, apples, bananas, etc., and a carved rotisserie turkey served with a cinnamon/banana/pineapple sauce. He said there were all the usual breakfast suspects--most of which he did not have room to try. Lots of croissants (chocolate covered, blueberry filled) all kinds of turnovers, grits, bacon, some kind of fun sausage filled with peppers, etc. Whole wheat or white blueberry pancakes made to order--but the pancake flavors change daily. I know there was also rotisserie ham you could have with that yummy sauce, as well. I can't remember much else but I'm sure you get the idea that the food is wonderful.
Hope this helps someone plan!
