WOW, FP+ is worse than I even imagined

I love the Disney deluxes but it's my personal experience that the Portofino Bay Hotel puts any WDW/DL deluxe to shame. And I'm talking about standard room level at Portofino Bay. I haven't experienced their club level or top of the line suites. Disney has stopped much of what used to be their "par for the course" amenities for any deluxe stay.

I sure hope so. We're staying at Portofino for a week in late October. I'm anxious to see how it compares to the Disney deluxes we've stayed at.

As for prices, due to available promos, Portofino was actually cheaper than Hard Rock and Royal Pacific that week. All the promo rooms were sold out at RP, and HR just had upgraded rooms available at a discount. But a standard bay view at Portofino should suffice.

Yeah, after I booked I did look at Disney prices for the same week. None of the Disney deluxes were anything near as low, even with their 30% discounts. One deluxe, maybe AKL, only had some suites available for something like $975 per night.

Yeah, those beds looks just as comfortable. And I"m sure there's a Keurig machine there, and I'm sure it as clean, and.....
