There are a dozen comments on the DVC site. Almost all are saying what happened to Dec 8.

Stand in LONG LONG LONG line for chance to spend money on special merchandise.
Get a cookie and a drink
Listen to a sales pitch.

Well, we don't dance but it's fun to watch others participate.
Others can have our spot in the line for photos with characters.
If the line is too long to buy the pin I'll pass.
Enjoy the cookie and drink.
We have NEVER heard a sales pitch. Ever. Even at Welcome Home Wednesdays.

It's not for everybody so I guess we won't be seeing you at a MM in the future.

We went last year and this is what we did (2 adults)

Photo with Mickey and Minnie in Holiday outfits
Photo with Goofy and Pluto in Holiday outfits
Cookie/Rice Crispy and drinks (hot chocolate and apple juice)
Merchandise, some unique, other stuff wasn't unique to the event
Free ornament when we left
Drawing for I think a gift basket that is mailed to you if you win

The photo isn't free...you are given a ticket where you can find yours among the hundreds taken on a website. You can use your own camera too though.

It was 2 hours, but we were done in about an hour.

Thanks! The MM just so happens to be on our EP day, changed 3:30 A DR to 4:25pm. This is good to know. I want try to change ADR time again. This will be our 1st DVC event.
