Wow! Crazy Southwest Ding prices!!

Just wanted to let everyone know....just got a great ding on Southwest. Flying from Manchester, NH to Orlando for $45 each way! I got round-trip for 3 people for $322!! Just another reason why we need to go on this spur-of-the-moment trip!!

When are you going? I actually have been on the Southwest site for the pat 24 hours trying to come up with something Manchester or Providence to Orlando over Thanksgiving. Of course it's Thanksgiving that's the problem, but the best I can do is $244pp.

I heard a report on the radio that Southwest was the only airline to be running at a profit (or that they were running at the highest profit) or something like that!!!

Man I wish they would lift the Wright Amendment so we could fly out of DFW to Orlando.. I wish we could get some of these great deals.. In order for us to fly to Orlando we have to fly out of Dallas Lovefield and then have to fly to somewhere else and then fly from there to Orlando and buy 2 tickets.. we cant go straight thru.. ugh...

I got this ding too.. and if we weren't going already in Nov, i would definatley have taken advantage of this!! How great that you were able to use this! That is an unbelieveable price!

mmmcq , We are going at Thanksgiving too, and because we had to get 11 tix, We had to fax in a cc approval, and the lowest we got was 354.00 pp, and kids for 344.00 pp. Leaving from Providence, first fight in to Orlando early in the a.m. and then leaving Orlando at 8pm, straight to providence.

No problem! I saved money last year when we went in August because some had posted the deal they had gotten. So...I wanted to make sure people had heard about this great price!

I still can't believe we're flying round trip in Sept. for $81.60. And we're staying at ASMu for the AP rate of $59 a night. Just can't pass up those good deals.

I am watching and waiting for Hartford, CT's turn at these really low rates. I am flying in Aug for $59 each way but they have been having some $43 rates all around Ct these past two days.
I would love to get there during the Food and Wine festival this year, I have never done that. Peggie

Plus I got OKW for 159/night on the weekend, (we'll use pts during the week) a good deal on a minivan, and tickets to see the Red Sox play Tampa Bay for 11 dollars each! Anyone who goes to Fenway knows that may be the best deal of all !

Usally the ding is only good for purchace that one day.. i didn't see any specials for NH today.. but there are some for Providence RI

Ding is only good for that day...but go to southwest.com and download Ding!. Sometimes they repeat certain deals later in the week. So, you can keep looking! When I checked today, the lowest I could find was $59 each way.

We once changed our rate, but we switched to just another lower rate (it wasn't a Ding! rate). I just went on the southwest website, and there was a place to click if you wanted to change flight info (something like that). They will keep the difference you save in a southwest account to be used on later traveling.

You can also call Southwest reservations directly and they will help you do it over the phone. Just have the their reservation webpage open when you call and they will walk you through it.
