I just got a quote for a stay in November for over $1,000.

I looked at my quote from last year (same week) and it was $625.

:sad2:

We stayed at WBC this past October for a week for $837. Great price (2BR Deluxe). I emailed for a quote for next June for 2 weeks and they gave me a price of $1332 per week. I thought that was a huge jump (I know it is a different season, but going from $119 a night to $190 a night for the same room type was a huge difference.
I didnt contact them back because I didnt think they would do anything about it, but they called me within a couple of days to ask if I got the quote and had any questions. I told them that it was too high and wondered why it went up so much per night.
She told me she would try and email me another quote. They ended up getting back to me and I had evidently requested a quote a while back and the quote was $1099 for the week. They said they would honor that quote so now I am getting it for $157 a night which seems more in line with what I thought it would be going a year and a half later and in a different season (although I would still like it to be less:rolleyes1).
Guess the word is out about WBC and how convenient it is and they have jacked up the prices:eek:

It's whatever the market will bear with Bonnet Creek, so the key is to shop around and be as flexible as possible.

Yeah, unfortunately, we are tied to going down this particular week (last week Oct/first week Nov) as Dh's work sends him down every year for a conference.

It is ok, we can stay elsewhere, but I was just shocked to see the price difference.

They also said they had no vacancy for the week I need but they gave me a quote anyway saying that if they have one, this will be the price.

yup, brought on by the high demand from all the glowing reviews online, a double edged sword

I just looked on eBay and saw a listing for a 2 bedroom seven nights checking in on Oct 26th for $799. Keep shopping around.

I've noticed this too. We booked through booking.com in August, for January, and got it for 495 for 5 nights. I can't get anywhere close to that now, just entering random dates etc.
