When did Bay Lake Tower direct go to $265? No wonder DVC is buying back BLT resale contracts.

This is making the larger, nicer, newer studios at Riviera more appealing with the current incentives. BLT is a great location, but access to Epcot and HS at Riviera is great as well!

They always raise the price of sold out resorts so that people will go with the active sale resorts. Obviously, if people really want BLT and are willing to pay that price for it, they will sell it to them, but that is not their goal....the goal is to make RIV and VGF (along with AUL) attractive to new buyers so they go that route.

Gotta love DVC and WDW raising prices going into a recession...... but I'm sure there will be huge discounts coming in the Fall....... bringing the prices back to what they are today.

I was looking yesterday and CCV was still at $225. Looks like Boulder Ridge went up to $205 too.

they just raised those prices. Confirmed. Especially I think this morning they were not like that. $205 is a lot for BR, especially in the state of their rooms

I think DVC would be just as happy if people didn’t purchase BR and instead purchased the current resorts: RV, GF, or Aulani.

Not necessarily. I do not believe DVD raises their prices just to raise the floor for ROfR.

With $173 being closer to RIV and VGF already, they don’t need a lot of points back at that price so I think you still have a good chance!

Resale BLT was like $130 in 2020, $150 in 2021, and $170 in 2022.
