WOW, AKL on Travel Channel - Incredible!

I just finished watching the Travel Channel special on AKL. This resort is incredible, and a place I HAVE to stay at soon!

The Disney details are magnificent, and the entire property looks spectacular.

When I made my recent GF reservations for October 14, the CM was really pushing AKL. I decided against it because I wanted to be on the monorail. Now I'm wondering if I made the right decision???

Oh well, I'm not going to change it now, and I'm sure GF will be wonderful. Travel Channel is having a special on GF at 5pm today. Can't wait to see it... and hope I like it as much as AKL.

Ok, now I just finished watching the GF special on Travel Channel. The GF is certainly beautiful, but the show did not leave me with the amazing impact that AKL did. I think I prefer the African decor over Victorian. Just a personal preference.

Oh well, I am not changing plans at this point, and two very appealing aspect of GF to me is the water, and monorail. I think it's just the decor of the rooms I'm not overly fond of. The rooms at the AKL looked so cool!

As a child, I LOVED the Polynesian Village. I guess it's something about me and tropical decor. I know AKL is not really tropical, but it has the same kind of theming feel to it as the Poly.

I will be sure to visit AKL during my visit in a couple weeks, just to make sure it's where I want to stay next.

After staying at the AKL in May it is by far my favorite on property resort, it is absolutely amazing, there are not enough words to explain how happy we were with our decision to stay there. Enjoy your upcoming trip!
