I can’t believe it’s been a year already since I was supposed to be sailing away on the Disney Magic .... I did take the cruise credit so once they start sailing again (maybe fall ) I am going to book something fabulous and we can all get back to our home on the ocean!!

A year ago I was on the Wonder making our way to San Diego. It’s around this time when I started getting increasingly anxious about what was going on back home and if there was a possibility that we wouldn’t be able to dock in San Diego.

That was the last cruise for Disney. We were on the 14 night so when DCL paused operations we still had another 6 days. A year ago was the day we learned we would not be stopping in Cabo or Puerta Vallarta. It was also the day we were offered 40 percent off a future cruise and the future sailing desk got really busy.

We were on the Wonder too. I remember how crazy the line for the future cruise booking was. I was also watching too much of the news an worried we wouldn't be able to dock in Dan Diego and be stuck on the ship.
