I was thinking about the Playhouse Disney Characters at Hollywood and Vine and how "boring" it seemed to me. I mean, I guess for the little tiny kids it'd be fun, but even my 5 year old has outgrown Handy Manny and Little Einsteins.

So, I was thinking about what would be a really cool character meal at DHS, and it occurred to me that a Star Wars character meal wold be so cool! I'm not even a big Star Wars fan, but wouldn't it be cool?

I guess they're not traditional Disney characters, but they clearly have some type of relationship with Disney.

What do y'all think?

I would so be there! Even if it wasn't a permanent meal at the parks, maybe they should consider making it a special event only available during Star Wars Weekends at DHS.

This is really funny timing, because just three days ago, my older two boys (pre-teens) were saying the exact same thing. They would love a Star Wars character meal, and think that girls have an unfair advantage in the character meal department. They are also very much in favor of a Toy Story character meal.

The issue with Toy Stoy characters are their size. Those costumes are huge, how would they get around the tables?

I would love a toy story character meal or a pirate character meal with captain jack, captain hook, and peter pan and wendy.

I want a Villains character meal .. the cinderella dinner at 1900 park fare has fun with the stepsisters and lady tremaine why not all the villians. Radcliff, Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella De Ville etc. I understand Ursula would be hard but Captain Hook and Jafar could be fun as well!

Back in 2000? 2002? there WAS a Villains Meal. Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and others I do not recall. Queen of Hearts & Jafar maybe? I just don't remember! AUGH! But it existed! I know, cause I was there. I picked it because the villains theme dinner was a cool idea!

Yes, as my DH (Wizzzzzard) stated, it did exist. I believe it was in 2000 because I kinda recall our son being about 1 1/2yrs old at the time. He was in a highchair. He kept calling them over to our table. He had no fear and wasn't scared at all. OUr DN on the other had, didn't like them at all. She was about 4/5 at the time. It was great and the DH and DBIL had a great time being silly grown men with their villians. I liked it, it was rather "undisney" in terms of the fright factor with children(which may be why it is no longer there), but cool it was.

Wow, a Star Wars meal would be fantastic! And plenty of characters to choose from, too. Imagine how cool to be greeted at the door by a Jedi or a Storm Trooper or two...

omg, so weird cuz I always thought the same thing as u, like Playhouse Disney? How boring! hahhaaa! But how things change when u have a kid! I have a 1 yr old daughter, and she's inlove with all the Playhouse Disney characters! Were taking her to WDW for the 1st time and would never even think about taking her to DHS except for the fact now that they have all the Playhouse characters! LOL! Something I would never even care to stop and think about, now I think about going to this particular park JUST for that! hahaa! :rotfl:
