Would you tip???

DH is American so we end up tipping everybody whether it's in the UK or the US! :rolleyes:

we had a meal at rainforest one and bill was $60.00 paid with a $100.00 tc waited for change so i could tip she did not return caled manager he got her answer she said because i was english that the change was the tip where she got the 65% tip rule from i dident know in the end manager apologised and refunded all our money we would of tipped $15.00 in end free meal and no tip

I think the general guideline is around a dollar per person thats in your room, you should also leave it seperately every day in an envelope marked for them or in an obvious place, because you may have different housekeepers every day and they won't take the money unless they 'know' its for them, there are some special mousekeeping envelope designs on allears.net specifically for this or you could make your own. :flower:
