Their menu looks fantastic and we'd love to go. Just wondering if we should even try it with two 3 year olds. :confused3 I'm sure they'll eat the food. I just wonder if the ambience is more geared toward adults. I don't want to potentially ruin anyone else's romantic dinner.

Thanks for the advice!

It's a noisy place so kids of any age behaving normally will not be a problem but with children that young, IMO, you must be prepared to make a hasty exit should things not go as planned. My oldest daughter NEVER gave us a problem, my youngest (bless her) was removed on a couple of occasions at least...

I took my DS2 to Flying Fish and the length of the meal was a bit much for him so I took him for a walk to the bathroom (for which you have to walk through the candy /ice cream store on the Boardwalk). We spent a bit of time looking over the candies so that when he finished his dinner, he could pick out a special from the candy store. Our server was wonderful...very attentive to both children and adults.

My DDs 11 and 10 were happy to wait through our Flying Fish wonderful desserts when I promised them a trip to the candy store afterward for their desserts!!!

The food is delicious (at both Flying Fish and the candy store)! Have a great time!

I've taken 7 yr old dd there when she was 3. She was fine. It has a very mixed crowd. Adults and families. Now dd and I love to sit up by the kitchen and watch the cooks.

In my opinion, not a place I would recommend for kids. But to try to give Mom & Dad a treat, if you sit by the kitchen at the "bar", there's always something to watch and keep them entertained. Not sure about the kids menu but you can find that her on the DIS elsewhere.

We've taken our kids (3/5/6) to FF twice. They really enjoy it. The atmospere is loud and energetic. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the chefs in action.

The meal is definitely adult paced. If your kids are used to fast, kiddie paced service (fast food, Friendly's, etc.) then you might have to come up with something to occupy their time. If this might be a concern, here's an idea--have the waiter bring the kids meals with your appetizers (I highly recommend the crab cake and the calamari :) ) and the kids' desserts with your main course. Then you can decide on dessert for yourself depending on how the kids are holding up.
