One thing you might want to keep in mind is that the codes expired a couple of weeks ago, so you may not be saving quite as much money.
I just did a quick check and rack rate would be $77 a night before taxes.
Two nights at CR = $278 (before taxes)
Two nights at a value = $154 (before taxes)
Total difference = $124 (before taxes)
I would think about it before you cancel your existing reservation. What you'll actually be saving now that codes are expired would be less than half of what you had planned. If you can find a way to make up for that extra $124, I'd definitely keep the original reservation. But it all depends on how short you're running with so little time left.
