We will only be able to use 1 breakfast and 2 evening snacks on our trip tis time because we had to pack so many "must do's" into a quick 4 day stay, and I still booked Club Level.
I think they put something in the "pong juice" as my DD calls it at the Poly, that makes your heart and soul long to be back there! Lol!
Other than the POG juice, the service was AMAZING!
We had a million off the wall ideas and requests and all except one was able to be done and it just made us all feel like celebrities.
My Mother, who went into the trip a little pessimistic "WHO in their right mind pays $400 a night for a hotel room?" (40% off military rate), and she came home raving to anyone and everyone would listen....even people in the check out line at the grocery store about what an amazing experience it was.
She loved just sitting the patio with a cordial in her hand, watching my DD (now 5) dancing and singing along to the music of the water parade, and being able to go sit on the hammock on the beach and watch the fireworks.
My brother, who is pretty hard to impress....he works for the government and has stayed in the same suites as Presidents and foreign royalty stay in when he travels for work....
He is also kind of soft spoken and doesn't really make a fuss, good or bad about something unless it is MAJOR!
He loved being able to go grab a beer in the lounge and a snack whenever he wanted.
He kept trying to tip the cast members and they would always chase him down the hall with the money.
One of our last nights that we were there, my brother left a $50 bill for a woman who he though went above and beyond each time she saw him, he literally RAN downstairs and into the room laughing the whole way because she was chasing him and calling his name.
When we got back that evening from the parks, slid under the door in an envelope with the $50 bill was a note saying "Dear Mr. _____, while your overly generous tip is very appreciated, I simply can not take it. If you continue to leave such generous donations, your darling niece (my DD who charmed EVERYONE there) will be finding more than just chocolates on her pillow each night at turn down." (Each night they gave us about 20 chocolates and either a chocolate post card or a small box of chocolates).
We did supply them with a large bag full of my Mom's home made holiday goodies and some local southern staples upon check in, but my brother didn't think that was good enough for the service we received.
Anyways....
He just kept saying "you just don't get this quality of service ANYWHERE!"
Still to this day, when we mention Disney, he always says "now THAT was one heck of a vacation."
While I agree that MOST cast members give wonderful service, the Club level service (at the Poly at least) simply can not be beat!
I do warn you though....once you do it, you won't want to do regular rooms again!
We actually cut one day off our trip just to keep Club Level in our budget this year!
Just do it! You won't regret it!
