Or is it simply way too crowded (like Disney parks tend to be)?

If you have spent Christmas day at US/IOA what would you reccommend for us (me, DH, DD11 and DS8) in regards to which park and which restaurant in Citywalk for dinner afterwards?
Any special activities you could tell me about that take place on 12/25?

Thank you:goodvibes

We are gonna be there for the first time this year so I am looking for a response too!popcorn::

I relly don't know how crowded it will be but I am a Universal junkie and whether Christmas or anytime I would be there no matter how crowded :thumbsup2

We did US on christmas day a few years ago, BUT IOA wasn't open then.

We had been watching the Christmas Day Parade from MK on tv and it was packed! So we went to US and it was really empty.:cheer2:

I don't think Christmas Day is too bad crowd wise...the insanity begins on 12/26!

That's our last day, good think we're headed out then! So the days leading up to the 26th are crowded but not horrible?

Pretty much...you can expect the crowds to built but the dam doesn't break until after Christmas Day...12/26 until 1/2 are insane!
