Would you send a postcard to a grade six class?

I mentioned that I was doing the postcard exchange here at DIS and that one of the people I sent to was an elementary school class in England. My mother said that was a wonderful idea. (She is a teacher.) Her coworker is studying geography with her students in grade six and is a brand new teacher always looking for new ideas. I was wondering if it would be possible for people to send her class a postcard from your city. It wouldn't have to be anything complicated. I was going to try to see how many of the 50 US states and 10 Canadian provinces and 3 Canadian territories they could get postcards from.

So, if you are interested please sign up below. I will try to just get one from each state/province/territory. If you are from a different country than Canada and the US, feel free to post as well. So, the first person who posts from each place will be the one I will use.

As well if there is anyone in any country that would like to send a postcard, just let me know.

Once you have let me know that you are interested, I will send you a PM with the address to send your postcard to. When you have sent your postcard, please let me know either on this thread or through a PM.

For those who I have sent the address to, it would be great if you could try to get it out within one week of being sent the address. If you need more time, no problem.

Well, I'm glad to see that there's interest. If a few more people think it's a good idea, I think I will organize it. I can just imagine how excited those kids would be. So far we have New Hampshire and New York on board.
