Would you scratch someone's itch for them?

I had a woman at work ask me to scratch an itch on her back that she just could not get to. Now, I had no worries of a sexual misconduct issue, and she and I are friendly, but not friends....

So, I did it. Felt strange, but I did it.

Would you?

As long as it was their back I was scratching, yes. :)

I would not ask a male coworker to scratch my back. I might ask a close friend, but even then, I doubt it. My husband and kids are another matter. :)

I think I just happened to be the closest person... :rotfl:

Sure why not...

I think ive had coworkers scratch the side of my nose for me :rotfl: when my hands were covered in something like glue or dough.

Residnets always ask us to scratch their backs or shoulders.... and they will scratch ours if asked

I wouldn't personally ask anyone (I use the wall lol), but it would not bother me if someone asked me to scratch their itch..so long as it is their back as previously pointed out. :thumbsup2.

Now if the itch were up their nose? No way , I ain't sticking my finger up nobody's nose. :rotfl:

No I would not scratch someone's itch for them. That creeps me out! I don't know why.

I would never ask someone else to do that for me either.

:rolleyes1 I do it all the time for the one guy I work with. He goes to a chiropractor and a licensed masseuse in town but I fill in with back massages and scratching if we're both there on the same day. To me it's no big deal coming from a family where I have 2 older brothers and 2 younger B-I-Ls.

Of course I would! That s why everyone at work always tells me to "Go Scratch"!:goodvibes

No, I'd worry about the scratch being caused by poison ivy or something.

Yeah, not only would I do it, but I've offered before. There are at least two men I work with that I've offered to stratch when they were using a wall/ corner. I work with a pretty close knit group. I've also had a couple of them give me neck rubs when they can tell my neck is tight.

Of course there are a couple people work with that are icky and I wouldnt touch them if you paid me!

Probably not. It icks me out. Just the thought of dead skin cells sluffing off gross me out. My kid is a different story. Not for anyone else though. Even DBF has to scratch his own itch. I'm with the poster who said hand them a ruler.

You post some really strange stuff........LOL
you kind of have a seinfeld life don't you? hehe

I'm skeeved out by it. I wouldn't scratch or ask to be scratched.

!

That is how it is at my work too- we would all scratch each others back and I get at least one neck rub a day- though I give out less than I get LOL- I prefer to be the rub-bee rather than the rub-ber!
