We tend to spend less on the room, With the kids.

If it is just DH, and I- Which doesn't happen much- We go for the better room. We spend much less on soveniers, and junk, when they are not w/ us.

Like one of the previous posts- We stayed at Pop last month, and really, really liked it. We have usually stayed in the mods, but prob. won't again. Not enough of a difference for us. Big diff. between mods, and deluxe though.

Our first trip we stayed at ASMo and this time its POP. My DS4 can sleep anywhere and we just need a clean place to crash. That said, I wouldn't stay anywhere else but on-site. Call me an onsite snob if you wish but I like to feel the magic throughout my trip!

This is a tough one!

The trip I am taking with my BF is the first 'adult' trip the both of us are taking to Disney, the last time the two of us were there we were kids...Anyways, after figuring out our budget, we decided to spend a little more on the room and stay in a moderate (CSR!!!) as opposed to one of the All Stars or POP. We decided that while we want to spend ample time in the parks, it is also a vacation and want to spend some time sipping margaritas at the pool. We used a friend's mom who is a travel agent and she got us a good deal on the room and we have been saving every last penny for spending money, so we will be able to eat at a sit down every nite.

So...I guess what I am trying to say is that if you want more of a 'vacation' than just commando park hopping, then splurge for the nicer room...I know I did!
