Would you purchase a themepark Refillable mug?

If disney offered a refillable mug for each of the themeparks would you buy it. This mug would work like the waterpark mugs with a barcode. You can go up to any food cart or counter service and present your mug for a refill. You can purchase your mug/sticker for your mug at any food cart or counter service for that days refills in the parks. You will be able to use this mug at all the parks but the bar code is only good for that day. So you would have to go to a food cart or counter service each day for a new bar code sticker. These mugs can be used at the resorts also and stickers and mugs can also be purchased at the food court. Remember each day you would have to purchase a new bar code sticker. The mug only needs to be purchased once.

Let me know of any other ideas about this that would work.

no, because i couldnt imagine drinking that many fountain drinks in one day. we only drink water in the parks. soda will dehydrate you and too much juice is way too much sugar.

probably wouldn't buy it - don't like lugging anything around, even if it's a mug clipped onto a belt - although if it were a really pretty mug, i might buy one on the way out of the park....

I voted no because when my family and I purchase the mugs at the Resorts we don't like to take them with us to the parks, so for us it's one less thing we don't need to always bring back to the parks.

I put yes, but I would rather it be tied to your KTTW and be good for your entire stay without you having to get a new barcode each day. It could replace your resort refillable mug and be good at any of the parks and resorts during your stay. I would be willing to pay up to $25 for this. I think this is something disney really should consider!

I'd buy that! If it was good at all the parks for your length of stay then absolutely. But I usually bring a water bottle with me and can't see drinking enough soda in a day for a mug to be worth it

Disney could have a unlimited soft drink package. Pay $X for unlimited softdrinks at all the parks. They swipe your KTTW card and give you a soft drink in a throw away cup. This way you wouldn't have to lug a mug around or chance loosing it. Though it wouldn't be very envoirmentally friendly.

I voted yes because we are always buying drinks with our meals and snacks and this would be a nice way to carry it around with a little more insulation from the hot sun.

Oh I like the soft drink card idea, like on a cruise. That would work for my family. DH and DD would love it. I generally stick to water in the parks and will drink tea with my TS meal each day.

But no, we wouldn't purchase mugs because we wouldn't want to keep up with them and who would want to purchase a new bar code everyday? That would suck.

In the parks, I stick with water. Better to keep you cool.

I don't want to have to carry a mug around. I prefer to toss the bottle when I'm done drinking.

Once I drank from it, the pop inside would get all sticky and eewy and I wouldn't want to refill it and drink from it again. And I don't want to have to stop and rinse it to prevent that.

They don't have fountain drinks at the carts, so I'd have to wait until I got to a quick-serve place.

Just seems like a lot more trouble that it is worth.

No, we're summer travelers and only drink water in the parks. I'm usually craving water so much down there that I don't even mess with the resort mugs.

That's a good point because would WDW then bring in those mug washing areas we see at some of the Resort counter service locations.

I voted no, only because I would hate to have to carry around 3 mugs. If they came in a disposable cup, I would probably buy it.

No, we wouldn't like to lug the mugs around all day. We typically only drink fountain drinks at CS meals. Walking the parks, it's usually water that we're drinking.

I voted yes based on the plain "Would you purchase a themepark Refillable mug? " question. But once I read your whole post I'd have to change it to no. I'd only buy a refillable mug if it was good for the entire stay and similar in price to the resort mugs. Having to pay every day wouldn't make it worth it to me.
