I need to make ONE more ADR!! And I cant decide between Whispering Canyon or Boma.
Please share your likes/dislikes about both. I need help making my decision!
Thanks!!

Boma hands down!!!!!!!! They have a variety of food on the buffet to please every palate. We really didn't enjoy our meal at WCC. We (my DDs and I) had the skillet and DH had a shrimp pasta (I think??) entree. The skillet was rather BLAH -- nothing particularly stands out as having been good. DH's entree was better, but not that memorable. OTOH we all loved Boma, even my DDs who can sometimes be picky about food. They tried several things from my plate that they would not have tried otherwise and we found several things they liked and would try again. They also had the good ol' standbys on the buffet, carved beef, mac n'cheese, salads, etc. so I know there would at least be something for everyone there.

Another vote for Boma. We were not that impressed with WCC, it reminded us of our local steakhouse/ bbq place. We loved the food and atmosphere of Boma so much better.

I think the reason to go to WCC is mostly atmosphere. It is one of those places where the theme sort of outshines the food. I have been to both and like Boma much better. AKL is beautiful and your family might enjoy walking around, seeing the animals, etc. But if your kids will enjoy the antics and silliness, WCC might be fun for them.

Boma - Very good buffett with alot of variety of food including african cuisine! Yummy! Loud busy atmoshpere in AKL, a beautiful resort.

WCC - Actual table service with fun antics from the staff. Also, is loud. They have a great all you can eat skillet! Great theming and in WL, a beautiful resort.

I'd say if you haven't been to either, I would suggest WCC first as you get good food and you'll have a great time laughing with all the antics going on!

Boma if you are going for the food, WCC if you are going for the fun.

I think most people would say Boma and I am one of them. WCC has a fun atmosphere, but the food is nothing special. I didn't even care for the food really. I'd go for breakfast or dessert, but it's your basic backyard food (unless that's what you want.)

Now Boma on the other hand is unique. There are some foods I don't like and some that I do and you will find that at ANY buffet. The atmosphere is nice and trying the food is fun. I really like the baboti, the prime rib, peanut rice, and some others that I don't know the names. This is my DD3 and DD11's favorite restaurant.

I vote for WCC. I think Bomas food is too funky. But that's my opinion.

I didn't care for Boma, overall BUT we have food restrictions, so there was little I could eat there and almost nothing for us in the line of desserts (just one sorbet). I am booking the WCC for our next trip instead of Boma. I am looking forward to the antics and such that go along with that meal, and I love the theme of that lodge!
Both places are so beautiful, you really can't go wrong :)

Boma, Boma, Boma!! :)
I like Boma's food waaaaayyyyyy better than WCC. Now WCC can be a fun time, but I like the selection of food at Boma much better. My kids would agree as they like the large selection of items to try out.

We've eaten at Boma both for breakfast and dinner and didn't really care for either. Probably won't eat there again. We liked Whispering Canyon. It's a matter of taste I think.

I think I am leaning towards Boma!! We want to experience a dinner we can get only at Disney. (we have no African cuisine in my neck of the woods...LOL)
I am looking for a unique atmosphere as well.
Decisions....decisions!!

Boma! We loved the variety and the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a must see! There is a link to my Dining Report below - I have pictures of a lot of food at Boma. One of my favorite meals. The crab soup is out of this world! Where else are you eating?

No question--Boma!

The food is very good (lots of stuff, not just African), and the atmosphere is nicer than WCC.

We were very disappointed in our WCC last time and won't return there.
