FLIP FLOPS? Apparantly, the "famous designers" are coming up with thier own brand of Flip Flops/Thongs/Beach sandals and they are REALLY expensive! I cannot wear them, haven't wore them in years, but $450? I don't think so!

ABSOLUTLY NOT!! i have only paid 95 for dr. martens three years ago and still wearin em! no way jose. the most money i would spend on shoes is $115 because there are this really cute pair of nike shox shoes that i want but not on flip flops that could fall apart easier.

yeah right. my favorite shoes of all time cost me $5.

I'll pay up to about $100 for really good shoes when I need something to stand in all day (for work) or something for walking while on vacation. Even those I will get on sale.

I like those plain old fasahioned rubber flip flops that go for $2.00 tops. On sale I've gotten them for 50cents. So I guess my answer is no.

No way. I love flip flops though. My favourites are my sketchers I got near WDW last year. I got 2 pairs (the second were half price, one pair are red and blue, the other orange and yellow) they were $22 a pair but I love them, they will last ages. I thought that was expensive for flip flops!!

Heck no! In fact, I was looking at really cute flip-flops with flowery trim but didn't want to pay 20 or so bucks for them. So I got a $5 pair from Walgreens and added some trim I found on clearance. So for a whopping 6 bucks, I got the cute flip flops I wanted. lol

That is the beauty of flip flops, flippies at my house is the cheapness of them. My DH complains about how many DD's and I have but many were bought on clearance for less than $5. One time I spent $10 for a pair I really loved and thought I was extravagent. They aren't even my most comfy ones. DD wore some $7 ones to the prom.

Nope I would never pay it but did see a pair of $375 flip flops at the local Gucci store. I though they were really cute and then I picked them up and saw the price. I dropped them like they were on fire and started laughing out loud in the store. FYI - The sales people don't like you to laugh at their ridculously overpirced items.

I would have laughed too!! The most I have paid for a pair of flip-flops is $20 because I feel in love with them and they were comfy and matched a cute outfit I had bought. I can't imagine, nope, no way.

This was an article that was in today's Miami Herald, and they showed pictures of these expensive flip flops! They did NOT look any better than the 5.00 pair that most of us buys except they had the Burberry/Gucci names on them....big WHOOP!
