Sorry but those people crazy enough to want the parks to open at 6am need to be examined. That means likely getting up at 4:30-5 to make rope drop everyday on vacation.... 8am is about right as it's the start of a normal day in society and kids likely have a school time similar so it's nothing out of the ordinary. Followed by a late night (later the better is my vote) which includes more of the teen and young adult crowd who stay out later.
No matter what time they open people will be there to rope drop.
Why couldn't Disney do a late followed by early hours to do a 2 park 24 hours? 9-5am Epcot then 5am-1am MK and so on ?
