Lots of questions, so hey I have never eaten at any of these (except Boma) and hope I have good choices. Would you change any of these and if so which restaurant would you choose instead? I also need counter service meals and need recommendations for 8 days. We'll be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter and hope the food court there is good. We might try Riverside counter service as we are planning to spend an evening with YeHaa Bob. Ideas? Suggestions? I may have to cancel two of these, which two should take the cut? Is there a must have dish at these restaurants that I should try? We'll be on the dining plan so 3 of these will be OOP or 1 signature and 1 other, just FYI.
Here's our schedule:
Sun MK (L) ? (D) CA Grill
Mon EP (L) Le Cellier (D) Rose & Crown Dining Room
Tue AK (L) ? (D) Boma
Wed MK (L)Liberty Tree Tavern (D) O'Hana
Thu EP (L) ? (D) ?
Fri MK (B) Kona Cafe (L) ? (D) Citrico's
Sat DHS (L) ? (D) ?
Sun EP (L) ? (D) Via Napoli

counter service is all a matter of where you will be and when you want to eat it..
MK ...We love Cosmic rays for quite a few choices ..everything there is great..
also Columbia House for different types of choices..Pecos Bills too..

In Epcot, Electric Umbrella is a good anything you want type of CS, and in World Showcase, we like to go to Mexico for Nachos and also China or Japan for their cs choices..

In DHS, not many of our top choices there but in a fix we go to Backlot Express..

In AK, Pizzafari and Flame Tree BBQ, and Yak and Yeti CS...

If you want to be in Downtown Disney try Earl of Sandwich ...we love these sandwiches and sides there....Delicious..

I like your TS choices, You dont have Tutto Italia listed...great food even if you dont want Italian ...We loved our steaks there...
In DHS, we enjoyed Prime Time Cafe...the milkshakes and fried chicken was excellent....alot of choices there too..

try this and look at the restaurants and menus...
quite a good list..Have a great time

Okay, so for counter service:

MK - my family really likes Pecos Bill's. The fixin's bar is good especially for burgers and taco salad. I've heard Cosmic Ray's is good too, we will probably try that this year.

Studios - Backlot Express is great because you can get free refills. You can even sit outside and watch the Jedi Training Academy by Star Tours if you time it right. My kids liked that. Also, my DS (3) LOVED Pizza Planet - if you have toy story fans it's at least worth a peek. I liked their side salad, their pizza is ok.

Epcot - If you have unadventurous eaters try the Electric Umbrella - they have the standard burgers, chicken nuggets, etc. Free refills on soda there too. If you are more adventurous, there are many great quick service choices in the World Showcase.

Animal Kingdom - We actually like Restarauntosaurus (though it gets very mixed reviews on the boards & allears.net) - the kids meal comes in a pail with a shovel, this was an unexpected bonus and kept my little boy occupied for a while (we even took it to the pool the next day). Free refills on soda. My future hubby really likes their shrimp poboy, but they also have burgers with a toppings bar. We also tried Pizzafari - it was just ok.

If you go to Downtown Disney, try Earl of Sandwich and/or Wolfgang Puck Express (the one by Earl of Sandwich). Earl of Sandwich has yummy sanwiches and pretty good "quick-service desserts" (brownies are good there). Wolfgang Puck Express is one of the best quick-service meals I've ever had. They have good pizza, and I really enjoyed their penne with alfredo & chicken & peas. We have never had a bad meal there.

If you are looking for another table service meal or two try 50's prime time at the studios - comfort food & excellent shakes. Chefs de France would be an excellent lunch choice in Epcot and the kids may be able to see Remy. Hope that helps.....

Thank you. I am getting so excited for our trip with all this planning.

Two of my favorite Quick Service locations I would highly recommend is Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney Marketplace and the Contempo Cafe at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

we stayed at the POFQ in May and used their food court alot and it was good but what I think you should do is go over to Boatwrights at POR, our meal there was amazing

I would ditch Ohana and Boma dinners

I see you have both le cellier and rose and crown on the same day and another epcot day with nothing. I would try to split these up. Those would be two pretty big meals fairly close together.

For epcot quick service we have always enjoyed the variety available at sunshine seasons (?). In the land pavilion. Great choices and killer strawberry shortcake!!

on your dhs day have you thought about just walking over to the boardwalk? flying fish is one of our favorites. there are other restaurants in the boardwalk areas as well that are better than a lot of what you find inside dhs and it's such a quick walk or boat ride over it's worth it imo.

of the ones you have listed i've had lunch as le cellier and ltt both were fine. i've had dinner twice at citricos loved it, the sauteed shrimp app is great. i had one fantastic and one just so so dinner at california grill. i'm not a huge sushi eater but i shared an app with one of my sisters it was either a dragon roll or spicy kazan and it was great. i love their cheese plate for an app. i had a filet and my sister had tuna both were good. for the view and overall atmosphere i think it's a must do at least once. we've had a good dinner at ohana's before but we like grilled meats, if you don't then don't do it. kona for lunch is a good choice imo.

We love Pecos Bill's in the MK (and want to try Cosmic Ray's and Columbia Harbor Hous), Sunshine Seasons and choose your own WS CS buffet (let your party each pick their CS for themselves, and meet up to eat in a central location) in Epcot, and Flame Tree BBQ in AK. Haven't had CS in DHS in 11 years, so can't help you there!

Have to agree we typically don't do more than one sit down in a day with one exception.

The day we go to Rose and Crown and get a 7:45pm seating on the patio for illuminations than we will also book a 11:30AM lunch somewhere.

Now saying that I would ont do Le Cellier and Rose and Crown in one day - to much food.

I love having a sit down dinner every day but I would hate to waste the time to have 2 sit downs a day.

Sunshine Seasons or La Patisserie Boulangerie in Epcot.

Cosmic Ray's in MK for lunch or dinner and the bakery on Main Street is great for breakfast using snack credits. My kids love the hot dogs at Casey's and I love the piano. We also like Columbia Harbor House for less standard counter meal fare.

Flame Tree Barbeque and Yak & Yeti counter service in AK.

Hollywood Studios counter service is not my favorite....we usually do Prime Time and Sci Fi here...my kiddos loves them both, but if you really need a CS meal, I'd try Fairfax Fare for barbeque or Rosie's for burgers and such.

On the night you are going to see Bob at POR my suggestion would be to go to DTD for dinner at WPE Marketplace. Then take the boat back to POR.
WPE is one of our favorite places to eat in WDW:thumbsup2. We usually eat there several times on our trips.
On the day you are eating at both LeCellier and Rose & Crown as long as the ADRs are spaced out you should be fine. We usually do 2 sit downs a day. However DH & I no longer commando tour

For lunch at DHS I like Starring Rolls. Their sandwiches are good, and to top it off you get one of their amazing cupcakes for dessert if you're on the dining plan!! It's a nice alternative to burgers, fries and pizza!

I would leave your TS adr's for now. We always end up cancelling one or two while there. Either we are not hungry at the adr time, or we are enjoying ourselves at the park/pool and don't feel like leaving to go eat right then. You can call and cancel (plug the # into your cellphone), go to guest services or have the hotel concierge cancel for you.

For CS -

I didn't love the CS at POFQ, but enjoyed taking the boat to DTD to go to WPE. Yummy!

MK - Cosmic Ray's is popular, I prefer Columbia Harbour House.

DHS - Starring Rolls or Backlot Express

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons or one of the countries.

AK - Yak and Yeti

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that Rose & Crown and Le Cellier is WAY too much food in one day.

We love Boulangerie Patisserie in the France pavillion as well as the Fish & Chips place in UK. We always hit Biergarten on any trip to WDW.

For the DHS day, consider lunch at Beaches N' Cream or ESPN Club, and Cape May Cafe for Breakfast or Dinner. in the Epcot/DHS resort area.

We are trying Captain's Grill in the Yacht Club on our upcoming trip in September.

A lot of people like Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, but it really does nothing for us. We usually do the generic Electric Umbrella if we are in FW, but will definitely try something more unique in WS if possible.

Thanks, I was able to move Le Cellier from Mon to Thurs. And while I was there I booked Nine Dragons for an early lunch Sat.
