my ex took the dd's to Shea today. it's cold and rainy here in NY. truly miserable day to be outside. I wouldn't have gone to the ball park.

would you have gone? or stayed home?

My DH is golfing right now in a tournament and it's been pouring off and on and very damp. I'm in the house where it's warm!
I guess the weather doesn't bother some people.

BTW when the SF Giants played at Candlestick it was always cold there.

I wouldn't have gone, because I hate that kind of weather.
DH would have gone however, because he loves that kind of weather.
He's from Syracuse. He'd take the kids, and they'd have a great time.

I didnt even want to go to the Bruins game(inside) today it was so yucky out.
A couple years ago we had tickets to a Red Sox game and it was pouring out. Since it was with friends we all went in. The game was delayed, and delayed, and delayed. No one really wanted to sit in the wet stands, so we all left and we to watch the game at a bar. And this was in August.
So to answer your question...NO, I wouldnt go to a basebll game today.

several years ago, before the dd's were born, my ex went to opening day and complained how cold it was at Shea, so it surprised me he planned this trip today.

I went out for 20 minutes and started running some erands this morning. I had to go back home, I didn't think it was that cold and damp out. After I walked in the door I said screw what ever we needed and got back in my sweats and went on the couch LOL.
