my dd will be two in december. we dont have a big family and i dont know any kids her age so it will just be an adult party for her. i really wanted to bring her back to disney for her birthday but my family keep putting me off saying its too expensive, i will be bored on my own, i cant manage her on my own etc. what do you think?? i just priced it up and i can go for three nights and four days for 490 euros. it sounds too little to say no lol. i hate when people turn me off an idea and i know i was only there in oct. is it too early to go back??

If its what you want to do and are happy with the money then no, go for it! Who should define how often you should do something you like, and something special you can share with your daughter. When she is older it will be a wondeful memory to have together which is the most important thing. By the time you arrange a party at home and pay for food etc, its not exactly cheap anyway! I guess you could look at the cost of 2 nights - is there not much difference?

its one night extra free so it would be the same price. oh but that includes my plane ticket as well. so really it would be a shame not to go :rotfl:

I agree... If you're happy and want to go then book and go... It'll probably be difficult with a 2-year old on your own (Anya is 2 and very stubborn) but she'll be distracted and you'll both have a lovely time. And when she gets unhappy because she's had enough you can always have a quiet morning/afternoon running around by the lake to recharge batteries:)

Xmas is really magical there... We went mid Dec 2006 when Anya was only 3months old and we're going back again this December. Even not going on any rides but just walking around the park is fantastic!

Sounds like a plan then :rotfl: its along the same lines of my justification of a trip! Its how I managed to convince my BF o take me back to DLP before xmas after WDW this summer he swore no more disney until AT LEAST next year! Yeah right :rotfl:

yeah my mom just saw me looking up the site and is already telling me how stupid the whole idea is. i even offered to take her for free but she doesnt want to go

You should definitely go if it's something you want to do. It's sounds like a good price. I would rather do that than have a party at home! You shouldn't let others undermine your confidence with your DD. Of course you would cope, she's your DD, so you know her best. If you take it at your DD's pace, everything will be fine!:goodvibes

I've had a similar reaction from some of my family who can't think of anything worse than going to DLRP!:confused3

The way I look at holidays with kids is that it's difficult being with them anyway, so you might as well have a difficult time somewhere nice than a difficult time stuck at home!

:lmao: True.

Wow, that price includes your lfight tickets as well??!! I'd say go for it then, if the money's ok with you:thumbsup2 . If you do go, it'll just be the both of you, so you can just take it easy and go with the flow really. I think it'll just be so lovely to see the Xmas decorations etc.

What a lovely idea. I have a daughter who will also be 2 in December, so know how difficult they can be! I think the worst part would be the travelling, but you would have a lovely time when you are there. I hope your daughter is better at keeping on hats, scarfs, etc than mine, because it is freezing in December!

that would be like a red rag to a bull for me ,and definitely make me go !!

how rude to say you cant handle your own child!

go for it :goodvibes

xx

I agree with everyone else go for it!:goodvibes (but then we are all biased....!)

I am sure you can manage your child at home ,i mean you provide clothes for her, food for her, a home for her ,warmth and love so you can do that anywhere. If the money is right for you then go and have fun. x x:love:

It's never too early to go again :rotfl:

I think you should book - long long as the money's not an issue, then there's no reason to not go.
